Norwegian’s New Route Map Lets You Filter Destinations by Temperature
For some travelers, choosing the right vacation isn’t about the sights or the food, it’s all about the climate.
Norwegian Air wants to make finding the perfect place with the perfect weather easier, and the airline just launched a new feature offering users the ability to search for destinations based on their preferred temperatures.
Travelers can select a temperature range on the route map, and Norwegian will narrow down which of its 40 destinations would be ideal. It's a foolproof way to beat the summer heat or escape frigid winter winds.
The route map supports Fahrenheit as well as Celsius, so you don’t have to do any pesky conversions yourself.
“We’re delighted to be the first low-cost carrier in the U.K. to allow consumers to choose from destinations based on their preferred temperature,” Thomas Ramdahl, chief commercial officer at Norwegian said in a statement. “By investing in enhancing our website, our new digital route map can not only make our expanding global network and lowest fares more visible to customers but also makes it much easier to decide where to fly with us next.”
And travelers can not only set their desired temperature and departure dates, but also their preferred budget.
