The Royal family (and the world) has yet another reason to celebrate.

Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, famously known as “Fergie” to the press, has announced that her daughter, Princess Eugenie, is engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank.

The Duchess tweeted the good news with “total joy,” posting several photos of the happy couple.

Princess Eugenie is the daughter of Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth II’s third child, and cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry. Brooksbank, according to the Daily Mail, is a former bartender and wine merchant.

Brooksbank popped the question earlier in January while the couple were in Nicaragua. Princess Eugenie’s ring, seen in the couple’s official engagement photos released on Monday morning, is a distinctly pink padparadscha sapphire, surrounded by diamonds. As the Daily Mail pointed out, the ring looks like an homage to her mother’s engagement ring, which has a ruby in the center.

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank intend to exchange their vows in the fall, though their exact date has yet to be announced. And, following in the footsteps of her cousins, they have chosen St George’s Chapel in Windsor for their venue (the same as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding upcoming in May).

The Duke of York, Prince Andrew, said in a statement from Buckingham Palace: “Jack is an absolutely outstanding young man and Eugenie and he have got to know each other over a number of years, and I'm really thrilled for them.”
