Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher appear to have it all. They are stunning human beings, successful actors, and parents to two adorable kids. But it turns out they're just like the rest of us — at least when it comes to family vacations.

While promoting her new film, "The Spy Who Dumped Me," Kunis paid a visit to The Tonight Show, where she shared an epically horrible tale of family travel with host Jimmy Fallon. Oh, and this wasn’t just any vacation. It was her honeymoon.

“If you’ve ever seen the National Lampoon movies, our honeymoon was like a real-life National Lampoon honeymoon,” Kunis said. “We also went honeymooning with my in-laws.”

Kunis added that she bought her husband an RV for his birthday. He suggested they take it out for a spin for their honeymoon and bring his parents along.

"Eight hours into our RV trip, and this continues, our air conditioner breaks in Bakersfield in 110 degree weather," Kunis said. “The whole thing went pop.”

Once the family got it fixed they went on their way, but the drama didn’t stop there.

"We almost died on the side of the road when Apple Maps took us on a road … It wasn't a road, it was a fire road on the side of a mountain,” she said. “We all had to jump out of the vehicle and walk for like three miles while my father-in-law drove the van and Ashton navigated him over gigantic boulders because there had just been a massive flood. Guys, this was like, day two."

Oh, you think that’s bad? Just wait.

"My wonderful, beautiful mother-in-law picked the RV parks that we were staying in, but she didn’t use the internet. She used, um, books," Kunis added. "She’s like, 'We’ll end in Napa, it’ll be beautiful,' I was like, 'You know what, what could go wrong?' Let me tell you. An RV park not in Napa, but an hour outside of Napa with two prisons, OK? Yes guys, that is where our RV trip ended. And my husband looked at me and goes, 'I quit,' and I’m like, 'Me too.'"

Yikes. Maybe Kunis and Kutcher need a do-over. Maybe they should try a romantic under-the-radar island honeymoon instead.
