Kate Middleton may look like a prim and proper Duchess today, but, once upon a time, she was a college party animal just like the rest of us.

According to a 2007 report by The Guardian, which was recently resurfaced by Elle Magazine, Middleton once founded an all-girls social drinking club while she was a student at St. Andrews.

“At university, Kate continued to grow in confidence,” The Guardian wrote. The website explained that the future Duchess co-founded the girls' drinking society because she was “annoyed that the old ones excluded women.”

Though Kate founded the club, nobody can really remember her getting out of control with her drinks, according to The Guardian. Instead, they simply remember her as being a bit of a rebel. And that includes her time on the school’s catwalk during fashion week.

“It was just a student charity event,” one person told The Guardian at the time. “Tickets were £20, not £200 as reported, and the room was basically full of friends. It was no big deal.”

As to Middleton’s preferred cocktail of choice, Elle Decor shared that it’s likely something containing Jack Daniels. She’s also been known to enjoy a drink known as the 'Crack Baby,' which is the signature cocktail served at Boujis, Prince Harry's favorite nightclub. The drink, Elle Decor reported, is a mixture of vodka, raspberry liqueur, passion fruit and champagne.

Though she clearly likes her beverage concoctions, there is one thing you’ll never see her mix together — tea and almond milk. In January, the Duchess squashed a rumor that she enjoys the nut milk in her afternoon tea by telling a charity worker who offered her some “Don’t believe everything you read — I don’t even like almond milk.”

Maybe next time they should just have a bottle of Jack handy instead.
