Nothing cheers a child up like a Disney princess.

People are using Zoom for everything ranging from keeping up with work or school and staying in touch with family and friends while the coronavirus crisis continues to flip our routines upside down. So it’s hard to imagine that this video chatting tool can also make you feel positively magical.

A California-based company that specialized in character events and parties is here to change that. Princess & Me now offers Zoom-based parties with Disney princess for your kids to enjoy.

“Our hearts go out to those families who are following health and government guidelines to remain indoors during this challenging time. Our princesses want to bring a little magic to your day in a safe and fun way,” it says on the Princess & Me website.

Here’s how it works: you choose the date and time of your special Zoom call (as long as it’s within business hours), and you and your child can enjoy a 30-minute call that includes singing and stories, fun conversation, and some quality one-on-one time for your kid.

Characters include princess from movies like "Snow White," "Brave," "Sleeping Beauty," "Aladdin," "Frozen," and more. You can even book characters from "Mary Poppins," "Star Wars," or even some more general characters like a princess unicorn, a pirate, train engineer, and dinosaur explorer.

To book a session, fill out the online form on the Princess & Me website. Sessions are $60 for one character, for 30-minutes. Add an extra $50 for a second character. The company also offers online Princess Pajama Parties, group video calls, special “play-time” calls, pre-recorded video messages, and even some free content like virtual field trips and storytime on Instagram.
