Chrissy Teigen, the queen of Twitter, is taking to social media once again to set the record straight.

On Monday, Teigen fans shared a rather humorous photo of the model and what looked to be an overzealous fan getting too close to the star as she crossed the street.

“Hey @chrissyteigen this looks like you have strapped a very small man to your boob,” a fan tweeted.

Teigen jokingly replied, “I had the baby.”

Other fans were quick to jump on the photo, calling the fan a “creeper” for invading her personal space. However, according to Teigen that couldn’t be further from the truth. Instead of encroaching on her personal boundaries, the man was actually Teigen’s knight in shining armor.

“Nah he actually saved me from getting run over by a cyclist. I should have looked before stepping out!” Teigen tweeted.

And, thankfully, because Teigen is constantly followed around by the paparazzi, there is plenty of photographic evidence of this man’s good deed. So thank you, kind stranger, for saving Teigen and her unborn baby, who are both without question national treasures we need to protect.

The incident didn’t get Teigen down for long. Just hours after nearly getting hit by a bike she was back on Twitter and celebrating the fact that she reached 10 million followers.

According to People, Teigen is in New York City alongside her husband John Legend as he prepares to star in NBC’s "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert," which is set to air on Easter Sunday. If you see her on the streets make sure to warn her to look both ways before crossing.
