Update: According to View From the Wing, among other sources, Air France has canceled most of the $1,522 round-trip First Class tickets purchased yesterday. This is a rare, but legal move airlines can make when fares are sold by mistake

If you thought First Class seats were only reserved for serious high rollers (or points and miles experts), think again — right now, travelers can book First Class tickets to London for only $1,522 round-trip, from the West Coast.

The sale, which was first spotted on The Flight Deal, is valid for seats in Air France’s luxurious La Première cabin, which features lie-flat seats, access to Air France’s upscale lounge, and private, chauffeured airport transfers.

According to Thrifty Traveler, who also reported this deal, these tickets typically cost around $7,000.

These tickets, which are valid on flights to England from both Los Angeles as well as San Francisco, can be found throughout the year, from now until November.

Because these are almost certainly mistake fares, travelers are encouraged to wait until the reservation has been ticketed before making additional, non-refundable arrangements like hotel and tour bookings.

While unlikely, it is possible for the airline to cancel mistake fare bookings.

To book this sale, search for availability with Google Flights — and then purchase tickets directly through Air France’s website.
