It’s not just your family that’s embarrassing on vacation.

Last week, the Bush family descended upon their compound in Kennebunkport, Maine for their annual family vacation. They got matching t-shirts to commemorate the occasion. And then they wore them to play tennis and somebody won a trophy.

The occasion was documented by former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager on Instagram (scroll to the right).

“What a magical week with the ones I adore,” Jenna wrote on Instagram.

Member of the former first family — including George H.W., George W. and Laura, Barbara, and Jenna’s husband, Henry Chase Hager — returned to their annual retreat in Maine. This is the first time that the Bush family has returned to Kennebunkport since the death of former first lady Barbara Bush in April.

Jenna and her daughters have spent much of their summer with George H.W., who celebrated his 94th birthday in June.

The Kennebunkport estate has been in the family for more than a century. And George H.W. has spent every summer there since he was a child, excluding the time he served as a naval aviator in World War II. World leaders like Francois Mitterrand, Margaret Thatcher, and Mikhail Gorbachev have all visited the Bush compound when it served as the summer White House.
