Valentine’s Day is just a little more than a week away, but don’t worry, you still have time to plan something for your someone special. This year, don’t just go for chocolates and flowers. Instead, try getting away for a night or two with your partner: there are still plenty of romantic Airbnbs available to rent.

“From eclectic bungalows and charming B&Bs to sleek hotels and outdoor oases, there’s a wide variety of stays to spice things up this month,” the home rental site said in a statement. It added that not only are there homes available for the romantic day, but that would-be travelers can also double down on romance with one-of-a-kind experiences in some of the most romantic places on Earth.

So, where should you go? According Airbnb and couples traveling this weekend (Feb. 9-11), the top five destinations are Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles, London, and New York. Meanwhile, the top five — more unexpected — trending destinations on Airbnb for Valentine's Day 2018 are Barranquilla, Colombia; Recife, Brazil; Costa de la Luz, Spain; and Salvador, Brazil.

Keep scrolling to learn about the experiences you can book via Airbnb, and one house that’s still available in each city so you can sweep your partner off their feet.

OK, so really no matter what you do in Paris odds are it’s going to be romantic. But if you’re looking to up the ante why not try a “Wine and Cheese” pairing experience? For $60 a person, you and your love can taste four different French wines that you will pair with four local cheeses (of course all on a baguette), while seated at a charming tasting room in the heart of the Latin Quarter.

Then, book a stay at this romantic two-bedroom house boat docked on the Seine River that comes with exceptional views of the Eiffel Tower for just $256 a night. Head out on the boat’s deck after dark to watch the Eiffel Tower shine. Just don’t forget the champagne.

If you can make it to Tokyo for Valentine’s Day make sure to book a sushi-making experience, because nothing is sexier than watching your partner cook with their hands.

For $52 a person you can join chef Kazuki, who's now the president of 100-year old restaurant Ginza. And you’ll certainly be learning from the best as he’s taught more than 5,000 people his craft.

Next, book a stay at this totally zen one-bedroom apartment located in Koto-ku, Tokyo. The traditional home, which goes for just $80 a night, is located just minutes from the Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art and Kiba park, making it an ideal destination for anyone looking to explore with their lover.

Los Angeles

While there is plenty to do in Los Angeles, perhaps the most iconic thing you can experience with your partner this Valentine’s Day is taking a surf lesson together. There are a plethora of options to choose from, but we suggest this two-hour Surf Venice Beach experience as you’ll also get to see the famous Venice Boardwalk from the ocean as you catch a wave or two.

Moreover, you can book an Airbnb just steps from shore with this hippie-chic loft located in the heart of Venice. The best part? It’s just $50 a night, meaning you’ll have a little left over for flowers and candles.

If you’re in London this Valentine’s Day and want to see the sights while also spending quality time with your partner, you can do both. Chiara, a freelance photographer living in London, is offering up a photo tour Airbnb experience where she’ll walk you around the city and photograph you and your partner in a few of its most romantic spots for just $40. This way you can memorialize your trip, and your love, forever.

While you’re there, book a stay at this super romantic artist's studio located in Central London for $75 a night. It’s located just steps from the world famous Camden Market, meaning you’ll have plenty to do after your Valentine’s Day photoshoot.

New York City

Like all the cities listed above, New York City has plenty to offer in terms of romance for Valentine’s Day, but why not try something a little different and take a tour of the catacombs beneath the Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral? Yeah, it may seem spooky, but hey, if things get scary your date will undoubtedly reach for your hand or put their arms around you during this candlelit tour, meaning things will get close, fast.

While you’re in New York City book your stay at this gorgeous and airy loft located right on Washington Square Park. The historic townhouse comes with huge, oversized windows so you and your date can look out at the park while the sun goes down and maybe even stay up talking until it comes back up again.
