Il Ridotto
Il Ridotto isn't your average Venetian restaurant—either in its modern looks (all exposed brick, contemporary furniture, and mirrored walls to expand the tiny, 18-cover space) or in its pushing-the-envelope food. Pricey for dinner, it offers an extraordinarily good value for its set lunch menu: following plates of modern cichetti such as shrimp with cauliflower and roasted almonds, as well as baccalà (the local delicacy of salt cod) on a bed of lentils, you'll enjoy a larger main course of a choice of meat or fish.
