Antico Martini
One of those venerable Venetian grande dames, everyone from Richard Burton to Gina Lollobrigida, Charlie Chaplin and Arturo Toscanini has come here for the refined ambiance and superb seafood. Founded as a café in 1720, and a restaurant since 1863, its historic dining room, the Sala Cherubini, is on the way to being declared a national historic monument. The food is equally classic, with exquisite platters of seafood cichetti and some of the best risotto in the city.
