International design house Obakki sells clothing for both work and play that's geared toward young (and young-at-heart) career women. Founded by Treana Peake in Vancouver, the company's line is a favorite of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, and Tyra Banks. Skinny pants and leggings are paired with artfully draped tanks, tees, sweaters, and shawls that showcase limbs. Office and evening dresses also have an emphasis on tailoring and draping. The Gastown shop presents its collection in an airy, gallery-like shop environment: high ceilings, polished concrete floor, exposed brick, and plenty of white.
