Features
Free, Family-friendly

Sydney's newest park on the harbor shore, 22-hectare Barangaroo Reserve boasts Instagram-friendly views of Sydney Harbour Bridge. It makes a lofty spot for a picnic, with 360-degree vistas just a hop from historic quarter the Rocks. Guided Aboriginal cultural tours explore the indigenous significance of this place, which has been designed around an artificial headland to recreate the way the landscape and native flora would have looked during precolonial times. A lift drops down to the Cutaway, a vast subterranean gallery/cultural space carved out from the rock below, which hosts art, music, foodie events, and festivals.
