The Restaurant at Meadowood
Tucked into the oak-studded hills off Napa’s Silverado Trail, the Restaurant at Meadowood is the destination restaurant of the valley. On the Meadowood grounds, this restaurant has a country cottage setting with vaulted ceilings, large mirrors, and a dark wood bar. Views of the Mayacamas Mountains surrounding the resort are clearer during the day, when lunch is served on the patio. Chef Christopher Kostow executes often-changing, four- or eight-course tasting menus of intricately prepared California cuisine dishes. Ingredients like foie gras, caviar, and Wagyu beef are frequently utilized in each menu, and an on-site garden supplies several herbs and vegetables. It all pairs nicely with wine (of course), or opt for something from the bar, which focuses on house-distilled spirits and cordials.
