A massive stone-framed wood door greets visitors to this wine boutique, which has wines from the world over but specializes in Dalmatian wines crafted from local grape varietals like Posip and Plavac Mali. The winemaking tradition sprouted from the Roman Empire’s occupation in what is now Croatia. As it stands, Enoteka Terra is a short walk from Roman emperor Diocletian’s palace. They also have a dining room with vaulted stone ceilings that support elaborate chandeliers, live musicians, and regularly scheduled appearances from the winemakers. Cuisine consists of choices like sea bass in wine and truffle sauce, and beef in olive and wine sauce.
