This insightful museum expertly tells the history of the city's Jewish migration waves—in particular, when Shanghai welcomed 30,000 Jewish refugees fleeing the Holocaust in Europe. Thanks to generous funding, it is one of the best maintained museums in Shanghai and has excellent English translations.
