On weekend nights the owner of the Southern church revival-themed bar comes out to give a sermon to the patrons, often on the healing powers of fornication or another well-received topic. Congregants, as it were, sit in repurposed church pews and drink classic craft cocktails with huckleberry-infused vodka or spiced plum shrubs. In a nod to their Southern roots, they serve a chicken and waffle dish. And it is, in a word, divine.
