The Mission
The margarita is Arizona’s unofficial state cocktail, and with nine salt-rimmed options to choose from at the Mission, you’ll understand why. Among the favorites are the tart Blood Orange, the mescal-laced Smokehouse, and the Elderflower Paloma, made with freshly squeezed lime and grapefruit juice, St-Germain liqueur, and Partida tequila. For something stiffer, there are a half-dozen tequila flights composed from the bar's 60-plus assortment. There are also plenty of options for those looking for something to nibble on. The richly decorated restaurant with a glowing wall of illuminated Himalayan salt blocks produces modern Latin cuisine including Peruvian clam stew, pozole, anticuchos and tacos.
