Locals love the Coach House for it unpretentious beer-and-shot mentality and low prices—a sign over the patio service bar reads “Credit Card Minimum $8. Please Order & Move On. Housed in what looks like a prairie saloon and decorated with timber wagon wheels, the western Coach House was established in 1959, and keeps 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. hours 365 days a year. Despite arcade games and large screen TVs permanently tuned to sports networks, the tiny interior is dark and cozy, while the open-air patio has counters and tables for larger crowds. Come holiday season, the Coach House really comes to life with sparkling holiday lights and revelers on their way home from ugly Christmas sweater parties.
