Presidents' Quarters Inn
This traditional bed-and-breakfast, housed in a pair of mid-19th-century town houses, has just 16 rooms. Each is named after an American president, ranging from George Washington to George H.W. Bush, and the period furnishings provide a 19th-century aesthetic throughout. There’s some variation within the spacious rooms—some have four-poster beds, others balconies or exposed brickwork. Save some time for breakfast in the hotel’s courtyard—it’s an absolute delight, both in terms of the Southern fare and the wonderful surroundings.
