In a nondescript location in downtown’s Gaslamp Quarter, Prohibition Lounge is a sexy 1930s-style speakeasy. The lounge features live jazz, blues, and soul music so you can dance the night away and live like a Fitzgerald for a night. Be aware of the dress code: sneakers, sandals, shorts, and hats (unless it’s a fedora) are strictly prohibited. While the drinks here change seasonally, you can’t go wrong with lead bartender Ryan Andrews's take on Prohibition-era drinks, as well as the barrel-aged whiskeys and bourbons. Or leave it all up to chance and order the Dealer's Choice—the bartender will do the rest.
