Residenza Napoleone III
Staying at Residenza Napoleone III is like stepping back in time to the era to the era when its namesake occupied the historic palazzo. The property's two exquisitely lavish private apartments have been restored to their original 1830s splendor and updated with modern amenities like iPod docks, Nespresso machines, and Bulgari bath products. The three-room Napoleone Suite may tempt you to throw a dinner party—its grand salon is decorated in silk wallpaper and 16th-century tapestries, the yellow drawing room has antique pots of jasmines, and the bedroom features oil paintings of pastoral ancient Rome, antiques, and a silk-draped canopy bed. But the Roof Garden Suite is where you will want to relax with some excellent wine—its decor is more modern and simple, but its 600 square foot terrace has sweeping views of the area surrounding the Spanish Steps.
