The tasting menu at Fish Market offers innovative and Asian-inspired flavors that are applied to Icelandic culinary staples: seafood, lamb, and local dairy. Lights in the historic, wood-frame building are dimmed low, and the glow from the kitchen seems to illuminate the raw bar. Red accents and green bamboo are decidedly Far East, and continue upstairs and through the second dining room. Skip the minke whale, and try instead Chef Hrefna Sætran's langoustine tail soup or unusual lumpfish roe. Fish Market is located in Reykjavik's city center.
