Poutine is the national food of Quebec, and yes, most restaurants, from the highest-end to the holes in the wall, serve it. But Chez Gaston is one place that truly specializes in all things poutine. The poutine here is topped with plump cheese (with just the right amount of squeak) and tangy gravy, and the service is fast and efficient. This place is nothing fancy: order from the bar, grab a tray and then take a seat. The menu also has burgers, hot dogs, and veggie dogs, but the reason to go is for a late-night order of steamy poutine, that's freshly cut and straight out of the fryer.
