Features
Great design, Modern style

First opened in 2001 just outside Quebec City, this ice hotel is only open during the winter. The 44 rooms and suites are redesigned every year; the premium suites have their own fireplaces and the deluxe arctic spa suite has one private treatment space. There's a reason why tourists flock here winter after winter: all the furniture and accessories are made of ice, down to the cocktail glasses in the bar. The outdoor hot tubs and heated washrooms keep guests warm and the transport throughout is via dogsled. Unsurprisingly, this is a top spot for weddings and there's even an ice chapel.
