Salt House Inn
After working with leading hospitality brands like Starwood, Ian Schrager, and André Balazs, hoteliers David Bowd and Kevin O’Shea took what they had learned, brought it to Provincetown, and set about reinventing the hotel scene. The result is this quirky, chic inn, spread across a series of cottages that once housed 19th-century salt-mine workers. In the breakfast room, there’s a huge blackboard where the daily menu, tips on things to do in the area, and the weather forecast are stylishly scrawled in chalk. Each of the pared-down rooms has a “wall of curiosities,” displaying discoveries sourced at vintage shops or on the nearby beach.
