Known for their cool hotel concepts, the latest Ace hotel plays up Pittsburgh’s sports affinity in a 100-year-old YMCA Club building. It’s located in the hipster hub of East Liberty, where Pittsburgh’s young creatives are opening award-winning restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. Suites come with vintage turntables and you can borrow records from the hotel’s album library in the lobby. The cafe serves up Stumptown coffee and fresh pastries, and the bar and lounge area is filled with comfortable couches and big communal tables to work at. Watch for weekly events like dodgeball games and dance parties in the building’s former YMCA gymnasium.
