Vedge offers no animal products, but don't call it a vegetarian or vegan restaurant. This is a vegetable restaurant only. One of Philadelphia’s most exciting and attention-grabbing eateries, Vedge performs magic tricks, such as a creamy—and cheeseless—rutabaga fondue. Try also their nod to a Reuben sandwich with smoked carrots and white bean sauerkraut mash on pumpernickel, or the nebrodini mushrooms transformed into pasta with charred tomato and basil sauce.
