Hôtel Fouquet's Barrière
Few places are as Parisian as Fouquet's, the restaurant that most would consider an institution these days. Their hotel is no exception. Its 81 rooms, including 33 suites, was the first in Paris to receive a fifth star after opening in 2006. Rooms feature gold padded headboards and are quite spacious, with mahogany touches in the bathroom. Today, luxury is still very much on the menu in the hotel and spa, as well as in its five restaurants and three bars. Even though it's located next to the bustle of the Champs Elysees and some of Paris's major sights, you may just end up spending all day at the hotel—and we're totally okay with that.
