Built on an abandoned landfill, this outdoor museum displays large-scale sculpture and multimedia installations. The park is set alongside the East River, and the sweeping views of Manhattan are a vivid backdrop to the exhibitions. Visitors are encouraged to explore the park on their own, but artist-led tours can also be arranged. The park is open 365 days a year from 10 a.m. to sunset.
