Smorgasburg

This food market is open Saturdays in Williamsburg and Sundays in Prospect Park, and features dozens of vendors hawking both fresh food to eat and items to take home. A mix of novelty bites—like the ramen burger, which is every bit as strange and delicious as you would imagine—and local favorites, such as Dough doughnuts, Jalapa Jar tacos, and lobster rolls from Red Hook Lobster Pound, Smorgasburg is a delight for both natives and out-of-towners alike. Roaming the rows of stands is activity enough in and of itself, but since the market is partnered with Brooklyn Flea, you can easily fill an afternoon zig-zagging between vintage clothing stalls and snack stops.
