With an encyclopedic collection spanning from ancient Egyptian to contemporary, the Brooklyn Museum of Art has something for everyone. It is, however, known for its special exhibitions (check the calendar on its website) and the Sackler Center for Feminist art where Judy Chicago’s monumental project, the Dinner Party, is housed. And the massive building, a perfect example of Beaux-Arts architecture, is worth seeing as well.
