Books of Wonder, with its world renowned Oz section of books by L. Frank Baum and successors, is the oldest and largest independent children's bookstore in New York City. The staff of children's book experts attends to sections that include foreign language books and board books for infants, as well as old, rare, classic and new books for beginning readers to teenagers. The store, on West 18th Street, has a wall of collectible children's books and original children's book art that has been fascinating visitors yougn and old since 1980.
