Chef Hooni Kim presides over this cozy spot where traditional Korean tastes and techniques meet contemporary preparation and creativity. And when we say cozy, we mean it, as there are only about 30 seats. The menu is made up of shareable small, medium, and large plates with meticulously selected ingredients—the meat is hormone- and antibiotic-free, fish are wild-caught, and produce is organic and locally sourced whenever possible. Start with a soju or sake and build your own multi-course meal with standouts like the spicy pork belly sliders and soy-poached black cod with spicy daikon. Reservations can be made online in advance, and are recommended, as the wait can get quite long in the evenings.
