The William Vale
This modern, Brooklyn-inspired boutique hotel in Williamsburg is the essence of urban sophistication. Each of the 183 rooms has bold and stylish decor, in-room balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. And the public spaces are fantastic, too. There's a 60-foot pool on the fourth floor; Westlight, the hotel’s 22nd-floor rooftop bar; and Leuca, a southern-Italian inspired restaurant by chef Andrew Carmellini that serves house-made pastas and wood-fire pizza. Wylie Dufresne also has plans to open his first donut bakery at this hotel, and in the summer, there's a food truck serving grab-and-go food.
