NoMo Soho
NoMo SoHo (formerly called the Mondrian) opened its 263 rooms in February 2011 and was renovated in April 2015. It’s an odd mix of 18th-century elegance and postmodern New York—designer Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz said he was inspired by Cocteau’s 1946 film La Belle et la Bête. NoMo Kitchen serves globally-inspired cuisine in a greenhouse-esque space with skylights and Italian glass chandeliers.
