This renovated 19th-century warehouse has been transformed with creative aplomb, opening in 2015 and showcasing local artists amid the rustic original details. The 167 rooms continue the artistic theme and boast wooden floors and exposed brickwork. There's a classy coffee shop in the lobby, just next to the rotating exhibitions, and the in-house dining of Compere Lapin Restaurant has been garnering local acclaim since opening, complemented by its world-class cocktail program. This new addition to the Central Business/Arts District is certainly helping to tempt guests out of their beloved French Quarter.
