Loews Vanderbilt Hotel
The Loews Vanderbilt Hotel's recent $17-million renovation overhauled everything from the lobby and suites to the bathrooms, which now sport black granite countertops and Nashville-inspired graphic wall coverings. With a nod to Music City, playful touches in the 326 rooms and 14 suites include wake-up calls by musicians Vince Gill and Sugarland, while the lobby jukebox spins albums exclusively by artists who've stayed at the hotel. Guests can take advantage of the fitness center, courtesy shuttle to nearby attractions, and kid-friendly amenities such as activity books, toys, games, and childproofing kits. Meanwhile, the restaurant and bar, Mason's, serves up Southern-inspired brasserie dishes such as espresso-rubbed beef tenderloin with tarragon creamed corn, and has an extensive bourbon and moonshine selection. A complimentary Mercedes service is available to transport guests within a three-mile radius between the hours of 10am and 10pm, and like other Loews properties, the Nashville hotel is pet-friendly, allowing animals under 75 pounds to stay for a fee of $50 per stay (they even throw in amenities like specialized bedding and rawhide bones).
