Robert Sinskey Vineyards
A stop along the winery-laden Silverado Trail, this particular edifice was built with stone and wood materials to evoke the aura of something between a castle and farm. As a pioneer of the organic and biodynamic practices of crafting wine, Robert Sinskey Vineyards encourages microorganisms, the use of natural pesticides, and an adherence to the lunar calendar. With his dad Bob and winemaker Jeff Virnig, Robert has become well-known for producing high-quality, Burgundy-inspired pinot noir from the Carneros region of Napa. Robert’s wife, Maria, also runs the kitchens at the winery, providing supplemental food pairings during tastings.
