For more than 25 years, the Boarding House has served American cuisine on its scenic patio and cozy cellar dining room. The covered outside seating gives guests the opportunity to people-watch on one of town's busiest streets, and the vaunted-ceiling dining room has an intimate charm all its own."Boho," as it's affectionately called on the island, serves one of the best weekend brunches in town. Partners Angela and Seth Raynor's menu includes eggs benedict alongside decadent crab-stuffed avocados, chicken and waffles, and bacon Bloody Marys. During the evening, the restaurant shines with farm-to-table recipes like grilled lobster tail (served over old-fashioned mashed potatoes and mascarpone creamed corn) and country-style roasted chicken (with fava bean panzanella). Diners should be aware that as the night goes on, the bar gets rowdy—in a good way. Make an earlier reservation if you prefer a calmer setting.
