Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay
Opened in Spring 2010 as part of Secrets’ $180 million foray into Jamaica, this all-inclusive resort is set above a half-mile stretch of sand on Montego Peninsula. The hotel adjoins sister property Secrets St. James, with which it shares nine restaurants and nine bars. That means guests get the variety of a mega-resort with the intimacy of a smaller property. Plus, Secrets does the all-inclusive model with class: top-shelf drinks are included, there’s 24/7 room service, and you need neither wristbands nor dinner reservations. The 351 suites, some with swim-out access to the pool, have a West-Elm-by-way-of-the-Tropics vibe with simple, modern dark wood furniture, Jamaican art, and pops of tangerine. All have deep-soak whirlpool tubs and large, furnished balconies.
