Porter & Frye
Inside downtown Minneapolis’ ziggurat-inspired (1930) Ivy Tower, Porter & Frye offers a contemporary take on Midwestern fare. The Hotel Ivy’s upscale restaurant boasts exposed ductwork, dark wood furniture and curved booths accented with bright orange fabric. Using fresh, local ingredients, executive chef Sarah Master has crafted a brief, but innovative selection of dishes, including Iowa lamb chop with mint-sorel pesto and corned bison brisket with grit cakes. Lunch offerings are more casual, such as the bison grinder and lamb burger.
