Although the Sparrow has changed chefs since its 2009 opening, the Mile End restaurant still offers all-you-can-eat brunch. The family-style spread includes French toast, cheese and zucchini frittata, balsamic chutney, and fruit brioche. There’s bottomless coffee, as well as hot maple toddies, fresh apple juice mimosas, and Canadian Caesars. Using meats that are provincially certified as hormone- and antibiotic-free, the Sparrow has expanded its evening menu of pub snacks. Dishes include fried pickles, steak frites, and chicken wings that come with a maple-chili dipping sauce.
