2 Park Ave., New York, NY 10016, United States

Savor the "cuisine of the sun" at Murray Hill's Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro, where the Art Deco dining room recalls the calm, confident style of Paris circa 1930, from the antique, mural-sized painting on the back wall to the Parisian-style cheese cave. Chef-proprietor Terrance Brennan mentored under chef Roger Verge at Le Moulin de Mougins before returning stateside to introduce New York to some of the finest cheeses and wines in the world. For a sampling of the 200 cheese and the 160 wine selections, enjoy a wine and cheese flight such as the Fiesty Redhead, which includes Taleggion paired with Pinot Noir.
