Chrysalis Vineyards
Chrysalis Vineyards, located outside Washington, D.C. near Middleburg, Va., encompasses 71 acres on which 20 grape varieties are grown. Production focuses on the Norton, a grape native to Virginia, as well as an assortment of Spanish and French varietals. Varieties produced include Albariño, Viognier, and Tempranillo. There is a tasting room with a patio accommodating up to 40 visitors, and a picnic pavilion with two grills available for visitors who wish to bring provisions for a cook-out.
