Miami Beach Botanical Garden
Located directly across the street from the Miami Beach Convention Center and just a couple of blocks from Lincoln Road, the Miami Beach Botanical Garden may as well be worlds away. A slice of calm in a sea of bustling activity, the Garden's history dates back to 1962. In 2011, the space got a $1.2 million makeover, courtesy of local landscape architect Raymond Jungles. Today, the Garden—which is free to enter—features a winding collections of pathways meander through flowering trees, palms, orchids, and various species native to Florida, plus a stunning water garden and oolite fountain.
