King's Ice Cream
Not much has changed since King’s opened for business back in the mid 1990’s, and though that isn’t necessarily a positive for the shop’s interior (think neon signs, dingy glass windows, and amateur photos of menu items), it doesn’t stop Little Havana locals from frequenting the ice cream parlor. Besides old Havana flavors like guanábana and mamey, both tropical fruits native to Central America, this strip mall eatery is also known for its homemade churros. Try an order of six served hot with sugar, chocolate, dulce de leche (sweet caramelized milk), and guava.
