Features
Great design, Notable chef, Hotel restaurant

At the back of Nautilus Hotel, celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli’s restaurant is an ode to barefoot luxury with a touch of tropical midcentury glam. Inside, beechwood chairs with caned seats and half-moon oak-and-leather banquettes compliment palm frond wallpaper by Christian Lacroix. If the weather permits, opt for the breezy terrace overlooking the pool and the beach. Dishes are fresh and simple, with an emphasis on local seafood—just what you want when hanging out at the beach. Standouts include the lemonfish crudo, fritto misto, and Florida shrimp a la plancha, which pairs perfectly with a glass of rosé. Save room for the passion fruit donuts with warm vanilla custard.
