Features
Great design

A rare newly built hotel in the historic center (the Prado and Plaza Mayor are both a five-minute walk away), the Urban has 96 rooms with a chic industrial design employing lots of steel, glass, and leather as a backdrop for an important collection of art from Papua New Guinea. All room categories are well-designed if somewhat compact—with peek-a-boo bathrooms, the smallest (superior category) rooms work best for individuals and couples. In warmer months, the rooftop pool and terrace bar are among the busiest gathering spots in Madrid.
