Features
Great design

Once the palatial home of the Duke of Santo Mauro and now part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, the public spaces of this hotel got a cheeky, chinoiserie-accented face-lift by designer Lorenzo Castillo in 2011, giving it the air of an English country house on steroids. The hotel is quite intimate, with just 49 guest rooms. Amenities include an indoor pool and spa, a gleaming mirrored Art Deco bar, and perhaps the city’s prettiest restaurant—it's set in the duke’s former library and spread among three buildings in a lush and tranquil garden.
